Why Does ESG Matter to Us?

ESG

As a logistics operator managing complex supply chains – particularly for excise goods – we feel responsible not only for the efficiency of our processes, but also for their impact on the environment, people, and the business ecosystem.
That’s why, for many years, we have consistently built a management system based on the three pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), which define our development standards and competitive advantage.
“Companies that care for people and the planet create the most enduring value.” – Larry Fink (CEO BlackRock)

Details make the difference. Just like everyday choices.

From a precisely placed tax stamp to decisions that affect people, the environment, and processes — we focus on quality and responsibility at every stage of operation.

Environment

E for Environment

Environmental management is a key component of modern corporate responsibility.
The “E” in ESG refers to environmental issues, including the management of the company’s impact on the natural environment. In the face of growing expectations from consumers, investors, and regulatory bodies, a responsible approach to the environment is not only a moral duty but also a crucial source of competitive adv

Green energy and resource efficiency

Renewable energy – our warehouses are powered 100% by green energy, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

Lighting modernization – we have equipped our warehouses with energy-efficient LED lighting, and all our facilities use motion-sensor LED lamps.

“Turn off the lights – set an example!” campaign – an internal educational initiative reminding employees to save energy and supporting a pro-ecological culture in offices and warehouses.

Circular economy

Paper reduction – reducing paper consumption is treated as a project combining changes in technology, procedures, and employee habits.

ecoFIT Parcels – we match the size of the carton to its contents and use recycled paper fillers, reducing waste and “empty space” in transport.

Recycling and waste segregation – all office and warehouse waste fractions are sorted and recycled.

“Food-Sharing Emergency” initiative – helps reduce food waste at our locations.

Certifications and reporting

We have implemented ISO 14001 to systematically manage our environmental impact, reduce resource consumption, and minimize waste.
This allows us to meet legal requirements, improve process efficiency, and strengthen our image as an environmentally responsible company.

social

S for Social

Within the “S” (Social) component of our ESG strategy, the company undertakes numerous initiatives aimed at promoting social responsibility, creating value for society, and supporting employees and local communities.

Social responsibility

Safety and diversity – we employ people of different nationalities (including Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia) and those aged 50+, promoting equal opportunities and combating discrimination.

Community support – we regularly organize collections for local animal shelters and proudly support the “Szczęśliwa Siódemka” Social Café in Pruszków, a unique project that integrates and provides jobs for people with disabilities.

Education and development – we co-create internship programs with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and the University of Ecology and Management, sharing our logistics expertise with young talents.

Employee well-being – we encourage physical activity through sports picnics and health-focused initiatives.

Governance

G for Governance

Corporate governance is a cornerstone of our ESG strategy and refers to how the company is managed and supervised.
Here are some examples of our governance practices at XBS PRO-LOG:

Corporate governance

Within the Governance area, we implement transparent policies and procedures that ensure ethical and responsible management.
