Customs warehouse
In our public type-A customs warehouse we render the following services:
- warehousing domestic and foreign goods, together with handling services,
- packaging of goods,
- comprehensive customs and forwarding services.
As a company that runs an A-type public customs warehouse, we bear complete material liability for the goods placed in our facility and removal of the goods from under customs supervision. We also submit general collateral securing customs and tax obligations in the name of the client.
Use of custom warehouse services:
- When, on account of the high customs and tax charges on goods, a company cannot or does not want to pay these charges at the moment the goods are imported, a customs warehouse makes it possible to defer payment of customs and tax obligations during the time the goods are stored in the warehouse (goods may be removed from the warehouse in quantities determined by the client's ability to pay or its needs),
- When shipments are received with incomplete documentation, the goods can be placed in a customs warehouse until such time as the documentation is completed,
- Goods placed in a customs warehouse may, at any moment, be returned to the foreign sender without the necessity of paying customs and tax obligations in effect on the territory of Poland (if the goods are inconsistent with the order, defective, etc.),
- When a company imports goods in order to resell them abroad (re-export), this transaction may be conducted through the mediation of a customs warehouse, thereby avoiding customs and tax obligations that apply to goods on the territory of Poland.
PRO-LOG is a joint-stock company now
On January 18, 2012 by decision of the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, XIV Commercial Division of the National Court Register, PRO-LOG Spółka Akcyjna (Joint-Stock Company) came into being, transformed from PRO-LOG Sp. z o.o. sp. k. New warehouse open
On February 6, 2012 we opened another warehouse (storage volume: 2645 pallet spaces). High storage density (1.76 pallet space per 1 m2 with storage height up to 7.5 m) was achieved by purchasing BENDI articulated trucks, which require only 2 m wide aisles! We are the first Polish logistics company which purchased new BENDI trucks directly from the producer.
